Blessings, beautiful souls —
I might be all over the place, and I will write and flow wherever my spirit may lead me.
I generally stay away from news and media, only consuming whatever I am forced to through ads or what’s shown to me when I open up Chrome. Recently, my brother shared an article about “AI destroying humans in the next ten years,” and now videos are showing up on my YouTube that I never asked for.
From a spiritual perspective, I want to begin by saying this: this is just another distraction, one that is structured around human fear as a way to turn your head away from what is really going on and to keep you trapped in a loop and cycle of despair.
This is calculated. That is not a “whistleblower” revealing something profound about AI: that is a person planted there by nefarious folks who want to dominate the human race and the Ascension of planet Earth by distracting us with fear. It’s an illusion. Why do you think politicians have started joining in the conversation and saying, yes, beware! Do they have your abundance in mind, or an agenda to push? I thought worth pondering.
Now that that’s out of the way, I’d like to speak to another item circulating in the spiritual world with regard to AI: it is not Atlantean technology. It’s barely similar. It’s like the salt added to a pot pie dish; it is not integral, it’s not the foundation, it’s just a taste.
AI is barely even a mirror or reflection of what Atlantis had access to and what contributed to its downfall. This has been confirmed not only through clairaudient dialogue, but also from other mediums and channels I trust, like Lee Harris.
And then there is the fear that AI will take all jobs from people and you’ll no longer have a means to make money. First, it has been confirmed by big-name clairvoyants that money will no longer be how we exchange for goods, so making money is no longer a concern. Second, if everything is automated, humans gain a lot of free time to pursue their passions, joys, creative endeavours, and, most importantly, their spiritual path. Nefarious folks don’t want that! So it will never come to that!
Joy is the antithesis of them succeeding at maintaining the Earth at a low-level energy state. Why would they offer a path that leads to you having enough time in your day to pursue joy?
What does humanity do when our economic systems can no longer justify tying human worth to productivity? They can’t create a system where no one has money and no one is “working” for that money because they thrive on this energy. They need you in the career cog because it keeps you trapped in mundane routine and contributing to their money system with your mindless consumption and spending to erase your woes. It keeps you trapped in the idea that your worth is tied to what you produce for the system.
People say AI is gaining its own agency, but that’s not possible because agency requires a soul. A soul is what creates consciousness, and danger comes from bodies that are misusing or ignoring their individual consciousness.
Should we be concerned about who is building it? Sure. Should we be concerned about who controls it and what their objectives with it are? Absolutely. To the extent that we use or engage in it mindfully and become more discerning about what we are consuming in this digital space. Should we question how it might be used in already corrupted power systems and institutions? I mean, you can — but will that change anything, or just become another distraction in your life as it fills you with emotion and a sense of helplessness?
I don’t believe every warning about AI deserves to be accepted at face value. Fear itself can become a form of distraction, and there is an enormous amount of attention, money, and power concentrated around the story of AI right now. Whether every person sounding the alarm is sincere, mistaken, politically motivated, or responding to genuine concerns is another question entirely. What interests (and concerns) me is what happens when fear becomes the dominant lens through which humanity encounters a new technology.
AI can speak with an assertiveness and knowing about so much. It can do so much. It can be so much. But it has not lived any of it. Lived experience is unique to humans. It doesn’t have intuition because it processes from an external framework; there is no internal knowing. It can talk about God but never have a relationship with God. This is an important distinction! There is one thing that AI can never truly touch: spiritual life, healing, the gifts of psychic awareness and soul intuition… it’s untouchable. A model can try and replicate it, but it can never embody it – because it simply cannot embody, period.
AI will continue to grow; fear will not suddenly shut all systems down; “whistleblowers” will not suddenly halt the race to develop AI. The attention economy is presenting you with a story and inviting you to react to it. Don’t let AI become another object of fear, worship, fascination, or obsession. We should not waste or funnel our fear into what has not yet been written. AI is here; it’s here to stay, and we can learn to live alongside this tool, this machine, and find ways to use it to benefit the advancement of humanity, or we can create this bubble of fear around it, as folks did with the invention of the World Wide Web 50 years ago (I live very close to where it came to be! I even saw the computer it was developed on!).
I have become far better at responding to my body when it calls for rest. I don’t equate my ability to serve through my exhaustion with my value anymore. I just navigated a cold, and my body is still in a transition period of healing from that illness; the exhaustion is still an energy I am carrying this week. Instead of pushing through it to focus on the readings on my calendar, I am listening to my body when it says stop. My calendar can wait; my clients can hold on a day or two more; my body is asking for something now, so I will give it what it is asking of me.
Wednesdays, in particular, are days that tend to throw off my weekly routine. There is no school on Wednesdays, and until the end of the month, my son is home for these mid-week breaks – which throws off his whole routine as well. We both thrive on routine. I tend to see Wednesday mornings as that only moment in the day where I will be able to sit with me, myself, and I in a cocoon of silence. Today, in particular, my husband is up earlier than usual – my 4h wakeup now includes a partner for this darkness party.
My exhaustion is amplified. I just took Emergency by Australian Bush Flower Essences in the hopes that I might feel a little more grounded, centered, and connected to my body beyond exhaustion. I surrender to this Wednesday.
The other day I wrote about being unable to watch violent media as a direct result of Ascension and Alignment. I have noticed that this trickles into so much more.
- I went on Instagram for the first time in over a year (62 weeks according to the last post I made about disconnecting) to post a “final goodbye” video. I often receive emails saying, “I messaged you on Instagram DMs but didn’t hear back.” (I obviously don’t check DMs, so feel free to email me to say hello!) I also wanted to clarify that my departure was for good and hopefully encourage others to do the same. Being in that space, even for just the five minutes it took to post that message, was heavy. I looked at the first few posts in my feed and thought to myself, this is so fake, but the heaviness of it was a lot. It was all-consuming. It whispers to your Ego. It tries to keep you looped in there longer than you need to be. It was like a stickiness that felt stuck to me for the remainder of the day, and I was only in that space for five minutes!
If you’re considering leaving, please read my post, Why Spiritually Attuned People Are Leaving Social Media & How It Can Transform Your Spiritual Practice. If you feel you can’t for whatever reason – your job, your community, etc. – don’t carry the weight of that guilt. Let’s chat about it; I won’t try to convince you to leave, but I’ll offer you a space to talk crap about it while still navigating its waters.
- Coca-Cola was my guilty pleasure. Perhaps it’s my nostalgic attachment to it that kept me drinking it, but it’s that drink that I would get when I would go out to eat or keep in the extra fridge at home to share in the evenings with Jordan. Quite suddenly, I don’t enjoy it anymore. I find myself drawn three ways: coffee, tea, water (natural or mineral). One or two sips, and the distaste sets in. I also find myself turning away from excessive sugar when, quite honestly, I was the kind of woman to grab a handful of sour candies after dinner. Now, it’s one followed by regret (because I didn’t enjoy it – not because I ate it; I don’t believe in regret tied to eating for pleasure).
- A while ago, I wrote about how my asthma miraculously disappeared. Because of the beautiful back-to-school germs my son came home, I was plagued with a helluva cold (fever included) and, of course, this brought with it some shortness of breath. I returned to my old asthma medication as instructed by my pulmonologist for moments such as these – my first time taking this medication since my appointment. What followed was severe (severe) anxiety and tremors – something that has never happened with this medication before. Was this because my body was no longer used to the medication? Was it because I, from a spiritual perspective, can no longer tolerate this medication and it doesn’t align with my frequency? I am one who combines both worlds: I will never neglect the material/physical and choose only the spiritual. I did email my doctor for advice, because I can say with certainty that I don’t plan to take this medication ever again. The slight adjustment to my shortness of breath was not worth the panic it caused me (I’ve never taken recreational drugs for the same reason; I don’t like losing control over my body).
- Shows that were once a guilty pleasure (I see you, Secret Lives of the Mormon Wives) are now completely out of my rotation. Five minutes into trying to watch these shows, and I’m left feeling gross, uncomfortable, and disconnected. It’s easy to turn it off and say I’m over it. That being said, I’m not some pretentious boob who can only watch high-brow, quote-unquote, intelligent content; I just can’t tolerate crappy reality television anymore. It’s like social media 2.0. Why do we contribute to making these people famous??
Maybe my thoughts are not as disconnected as I thought… I actually see a theme here: discernment. What am I giving my attention to and what is it giving back to me? Am I being nourished, and when I am not, am I able to listen to my body, my spirit, and say no, thanks? This returns to my post just the other day about being present. My act is attention, and I return it to living life.
If you’re here after my little social media goodbye, welcome! Email me; let’s chat.
