Self Study with Ascension Intention
I find myself deep in a study, learn, and grow (spiritually) stage in my life. I am drawn to the big texts that would have, in the past, intimidated me, and I’ve got my highlighter running on overdrive. After completing Light Emerging, I found myself in Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Astrology, and now I’m nose-deep into Llewellyn’s Complete Book of Chakras – which sits at over 700 pages.
Along with this powerhouse of a textbook (that is actually so easy to read – incredible flow, endlessly interesting, and the writer writes in an approachable way, like talking to a friend), I’m occasionally returning to Meditations of the Tarot (it ain’t easy! But I was guided to keep trying). I tried out The Bloom Book: A Flower Essence Guide to Cosmic Balance, and found it was a political manifesto disguised as a spiritual text, one that was filled with fear and division, and quickly put it down. Drawn back (deeply – I have ordered a few new ones, which are on their way to me) into the world of Flower Essences and how they work to release the lessons in Chakras, I am also reading through the channeled text Flower Essences and Vibrational Healing by Gurudas.
To top it all off, I have two Tarot study texts coming in the mail, as I have also been guided by my spirit team to relearn, reintegrate, and gain new layers of understanding of working with Tarot in personal and professional practice.
All this reading makes me feel like I’m in university again, and I truly love it! I look forward to my reading sessions in the evening in my backyard, listening to the birdsong as they head to bed, watching my chickens enjoy their space under the setting sun. Highlighter going mad across the pages and light inside me illuminating… it feels like stepping back in time, as though I am accessing fragments of a past life as an archival master in a spiritual library, perhaps in an abbey, or a temple, or maybe this is a memory of my job back home – in the aether.
I love the idea that my draw to books and study and even my Master’s in Library and Information Studies in this lifetime might be connected to a job I have in the aether, maybe even in the Akashic Records. I would be honoured to guide others to their book – which, I suppose, is what I do in this lifetime…
AI in Spiritual Spaces
One thing that has emerged from all this reading is a hypersensitivity to AI-generated text. When researching or reading articles online, it’s becoming more and more prominent – even in spiritual spaces.
Not only is it far easier to catch (some clues: repetition of word maybe, predictable progression from image → explanation → philosophical reflection → universal conclusion, uniform rhythm, a nice elegant ending, etc.), but it no longer settles in my spirit as an authentic representation of the writer’s soul, and it makes me uneasy. There is a difference between using AI to aid you in your expression and using AI to write the text for you (just because you have the idea).
I am brought back to thinking about the stories of our ancestors, being passed from mouth to mouth to mouth. Yes, the story changed as it went from one person to the next, but the essence was never altered – not in the way AI alters spirit. In the spiritual community, for those seeking heart-centered, authentic connection, or hoping to educate others with soul-guidance, I don’t know how they could feel spiritually okay about using AI to script their stories for them.
AI is a tool, a great one at that, to help with research, editing and formatting documents, and to assist with deep dives (such as what is going on astrologically at the moment, as an example). But because the individuals behind it are the ones with malicious intent, the way it tries to steer, control, and dictate conversation, including personal stories and spiritual guidance, gives me severe Atlantean technology vibes – and we all know what happened there.
While I am not in any place to judge others, I do not know how spiritual folks can sit in the discomfort of authenticity and call it Truth – though perhaps it is connected to an addiction to performance. AI serves a purpose, and it is not going anywhere, so we need to adapt to it, bend to it, and shift to understand how to use it without losing a piece of our human self in the process. But remember: AI is a tool, and as a tool without a living spirit, it does not have a heart, it does not have soul, and it fails to transmute those very human expressions into text.
Tarot’s Return
Since I have gone through yet another Death moment – of the Self to Oneness – there have been numerous things that have been pulling me back to Tarot.
Not only has it been insinuated through my channeling that I am not done with the cards yet, but I have also felt a desire to connect with them again. I was told that my disdain for them arose from my experience through my Kickstarter, and that became locked as my Truth around the cards (they are stressful, they attract negativity rather than open doors to the spirit, etc.). In addition, I haven’t really been approaching them with the correct lens, which is that I need to look at them as a tool for my own spiritual understanding of my own path, rather than just something used to help others. I need to shift my perspective to self-care rather than care for others. It will help me find my joy in the cards again.
As such, I want my Tarot Study to be a pleasure and not a burden. I want to pick a deck that has RWS imagery and one that I’d love to bond deeper with; one that isn’t my own deck, Rider Waite Renewed. I wish to hand-journal my experiences, diving beyond the surface meaning and understanding how the card speaks to me, specifically. I want to bond through the deck with this process and invite it to be a part of my daily spiritual practice.
And Finally…
Despite believing I was done with creating decks, my spirit team guided me towards the one I was to make after my latest release, The Celestial Temple – a Spirit Baby Oracle Deck. If you are a part of my newsletter, you got the first sneak-peeks, but I’m happy to say that the cards (and the channeled message on every card) are complete, and now I have begun to put together the guidebook.
Again, I wasn’t intending on doing a guidebook, but through an embodied channeling, I was told it’s important and adds an additional layer of connection to both the cards and the meaning. I don’t anticipate this will be the thickest guidebook of all time, but I will surrender to the process and allow it to unfold as the Universe wishes it to. I am very excited to send this off and print myself a copy; it is truly so beautiful, and I look forward to sharing more details soon.

All cards contain a unique oil painting chosen specifically by me for that particular card; this deck was created out of order as I slowly found paintings that fit certain cards in my mind.
The name of this deck – in both French & English – is a reference to the ‘Hall of Peace’ in Versailles and is also meant to insinuate that this deck will be a mirror to your spirit, revealing parts of you that you never expected. Your Light and Shadow self will emerge from the paintings, all aspects of your Spiritual Self will come forth as you use these spectacular cards.
