Full Moon in Aquarius 2026: Pluto, Spiritual Transformation & Shedding Your Old Self

Blessings, beautiful souls —

I’m sorry, but… what is this approaching full moon that sits directly over Pluto, and what is it doing??

Just some days ago, I wrote this invigorated post and was feeling at the top of my game, and now, I’m not sure whether it’s the energy coming through with this Aquarius Full Moon (my Sun sign) that’s closely aligned with Pluto (one of the first times in centuries), or the new Solar Logos Flower Essence I have transitioned to, but what the hell is going on inside me?

Not only what the hell is going on inside me but also: what the hell is going on outside of me. First, my son has chicken pox, and he looks like like a damn leaper, clearning whatever the hell is happening inside of him and pushing it to the outside. My daughter has had two days of endless fever sweats but no visual markings; perhaps she’s asymptomatic and is processing this all internally. It’s making her writhe in pain and have nightmares, with her waking screaming into the night.

I, perhaps through my symbiosis with my own children, am also processing something physically. What felt like intense allergies following the rain may have been a minor cold, and the fatigue it brought with it hasn’t been felt since my first trimester with N. I went to bed at 19h20 last night.

Jordan (my husband) is no different: something is being processed within him and is coming to the surface; he has a swollen right eye (he often has eye problems). He was taking the Gaia Essence and is not taking the Solar Logos with me, and has mentioned that his “psychic eye is now fully open,” and of course there is no doubt in my mind that this is connected. The right side of the body is the male side, and it’s time he shed his old attachment to his logical, material way of seeing and make room for his intuition to take greater lead.

And, like my daughter, I had endless nightmares where I woke up gasping. But I also had a recurring dream that I wrote down because it felt so important. I was gifted a “shoe brush” to put outside my front door by my former landlord (who is also my friend). It was in the shape of an animal, and I think it was a hippo. I was super excited about this gift!

When I dove into the symbolism this morning, I read that this was a symbol of being at a threshold, where the door is a transition, and the shoe brush means I need to clean off what I don’t want to step into this new beginning. The fact that I was excited means that my subconscious is really happy about this and is ready to let go of old baggage without hesitance. The fact that it came from my old landlord was symbolic of my old life – old story – old home – old chapter old Self. The brush is a reminder to clear and clear myself daily, and since this was a gift, it’s clearly a reminder from my Spirit team that they’re behind all this.

Along with this dream, the other one I remember from last night was about being late for a party because I was trying on all these old outfits to see what I’d feel best in. I didn’t care that I was late, and I wasn’t sad that all of my favourite old outfits didn’t fit me; I just kept moving onto the next one, and at a certain point, I remember saying, “Well, as long as I’m dressed, who cares what I’m wearing.” This is clearly another symbol of shedding my old Self and stepping into the new me without resistence or fight.

Then, I’ve been pulling the most cryptic tarot cards for myself lately – showing the unraveling of cycles and the emergence of something profound, and yet I received a rejection letter from a publishing company regarding my Celestial Temple Spirit Baby Oracle (from a, “purely business and marketing perspective,” – I don’t have social media or social reach, and this is the only deck of it’s kind on the market; there is no market to compare it to and that feels risky for small publishing houses).

I am emotionally neutral to this response, because I know it is not a reflection of my work and is not why I make my work (I have a deep need to create without concern for what follows – it’s why I write, also). I don’t only mention this just to show my humanness in this space, but also to add deeper understanding and reflection to this Full Moon.

Aquarius asks you, who is your authentic Self? Where do you belong? How can you contribute something unique to the collective? Which old rules no longer fit who you’re becoming?

And then Pluto alongside it asks you, What truth have you been avoiding? What needs to die so something stronger can emerge? Where are you trying to maintain control instead of allowing transformation?

Put together, this isn’t a gentle “self-care” Full Moon. It’s more like “Who are you becoming after shedding an old version of yourself?” And, sorry, but this shedding is intense – tell me I’m not alone here!

This full moon ensures that you do not stay the same and clearly I am physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually transforming over here. I also don’t think the sync of my kid’s “collective illness” (it’s something that spreads rapidly from other people) is a coincidence; it’s clear their little bodies are doing the same in the only way they know how to do it.

The Sun is also closely aligned with Jupiter in Leo, which amplifies confidence, visibility, and the desire to express yourself. At the same time, Pluto in Aquarius is asking that whatever you express comes from a place of genuine transformation rather than image. The interplay creates a tension between being seen and being deeply authentic. Being seen and the acceptance around being seen has been an endless lesson, as of late. And it felt like that rejection letter this morning was to test me, to poke me, to see if I’d go back into my shell – or to see whether I’d react to neutrality with the knowing that this has nothing to do with me at all, and my contribution to the Collective is still important.

I think all of this is asking of me to reflect on what the truest version of me is that I am giving to the Collective, and how I will continue to allow my work to enter the world while holding my boundaries in place. I also have been feeling very drawn to writing another article about the danger and damage of social media for spiritually centered people, because many people who want to create in this space feel tied to these “tools” (for evil) as a result (I will not receive the contract if I don’t have the followers – but your voices’ importance is not dependant on the meaningless amount of social media followers you have!).

In case this reflection has awoken something or mirrored something in you, I’ll end with some journal prompts for this Full Moon in Aquarius:

  • What version of myself is ready to be left behind?
  • What truth have I already been sensing but not fully trusted?
  • What gifts feel ready to be shared more openly?
  • Where am I seeking approval instead of alignment?
  • If I knew my path didn’t have to look conventional, what would I create next?

Keep creating, keep moving forward regardless of who is watching, keep trusting that you know the path.
