Do Not Fear the Woman

Hey there,

Do not fear the woman with power.
Do not fear the woman who controls her body, who owns her body, who values what’s between her legs.
Do not fear the woman who knows what she likes and will tell you how she likes it.
Do not fear the woman who will tell you when she’s unhappy, who will be honest about what she doesn’t tolerate.
Do not fear the woman who is successful, who has worked hard for independence, who takes charge of her own life.
Do not fear the woman who is established, who owns her shoes, her pets, her car, her house.
Do not fear the woman who doesn’t tolerate being made to feel small, to be put inside a box and defined according to stereotypes or generalizations.
Do not fear the woman who says no, or who says yes, or who says maybe depending on how she’s feeling because she knows how to read her own emotions.
Do not fear the woman who can separate the emotional from the physical.
Do not fear the woman who will let go of that separation for the right person, become vulnerable for the one who’s worth it.
Do not fear the woman who is out of your league, who intimidates you, who is way beyond wifey material but you can’t seem to handle it.
Do not fear the woman who has you wondering if you could love again, and who scares you a little bit for sparking these thoughts in you.
Do not fear the woman who makes you feel a little less like you’re in charge, a little less like a leader, a little less like the sole bread winner.
Do not fear the woman who makes you reevaluate all you ever thought you knew about women.
Do not fear the woman who stands tall in private spaces, in public spaces, who is confident and who is proud.
Why do you fear this woman?
She is a goddess and she should be worshiped.
Do not fear letting go
And worshiping her.
All prayer is rewarded.
