Blessings, beautiful souls –
I wish to write about something that is trending – if you will – among my clients and even just acquaintances that I communicate with: an inability to stay living in and focused on the Now.
I am sure you’ve heard this before, but I wish to emphasize it further: depression is caused by living in the past, and anxiety is caused by living in the future. Peace is found in the Now. That is the only place where you can find it! It cannot be found in future-dreaming, it cannot be uncovered in past-reminiscing, it can only be achieved in the stillness and observation of Now – the present moment.
Unfortunately, we live in a world that obsesses over both the past and the future. Buy this or you’ll miss out! You should have been hustling, your opportunity was missed! Work hard and reap the rewards later! Look at this person, thriving: where have you gone wrong/what do you need to do to get where they are? I can’t believe the world elected so-and-so! I can’t believe the world might elect so-and-so in the next election!
You know who thrives on you staying stuck in the past or the future, places that harbour fear, worries, and regrets? Nefarious folks and negative energy. You are much easier to control when you’re not settled in the vibration of peace.
Individuals who obsess about their past, past lives, or anything that is behind them (in essence) are stuck in a depressive loop, one that does not help them advance, spiritually, to a space of peace. By constantly analyzing and re-analyzing every action (even from different lenses), you are not altering what has happened and where you are in the present. Our past is meant to be released, forgiven, held in the Light of Love, and we wave goodbye to it with gratitude.
People obsessed with the future are hyper-controlling, wanting a definitive narrative and understanding of how every possible line in their story might play out. Some are just dreamers, wishing away the moment they have by believing the next best thing is waiting for them around the corner. I always advise clients about gaining too many details about their future or they may miss all the lessons and learning that are intended to make that future their most Abundant path. When you walk a forest path, do you need to stop and look at every stone before you step upon it? Just trust the path and walk, or you’ll miss the beautiful world that is around you!
So, why does living in the Now offer the peace that the past and future seem to lack? Because the Now is the only place where your soul actually exists and your power actually operates; it is the only moment that is real, tangible, and available for conscious choice.
Everything outside of the Now is a distraction. It is all meant to sway your heart into a state of fear, one that forces you outside of yourself instead of accessing the Well of Source within you. And when you are outside of yourself, you are disconnected from your discernment, your intuition, and your sovereignty.
In this moment, you are not your past mistakes, nor are you your imagined future outcomes. You are simply here. And here, there is clarity. Here, there is access to Spirit, fully and completely. The present moment steadies you because it removes illusion and returns you to what is real, and from that grounded place, peace naturally arises.

[…] This is just a reminder to anyone reading that nefarious entities want to loop you into their game, but it’s all an illusion. Evil is being unmasked, and this is so obvious by the strategies they are trying to use to pull healers, Ascended Beings, and Enlightened souls off their path. They are, quite frankly, utterly pathetic. It’s like a soldier who enters a battle with a plastic sword! They are no match for the Sword of Light of Archangel Michael. This is just a distraction and one that requires paying no mind. Do not allow them any time or space to live in your world of Truth. […]
