Creating a vision of our life that expands beyond our fears is essential to aligning with the most Abundant path. Fear is the ego’s projected perspective on reality, not reality itself. If we are able to tame the beast who tries to control how our mind discerns the external world, we have complete control over it and, subsequently, over ourselves. We must passively approach the things that seem to cause a stir in us – even those things that we cannot avoid and must, in fact, face. The Stoics stressed this way of life.
“Circumstances are what deceive us — you must be discerning in them. We embrace evil before good. We desire the opposite of what we once desired. Our prayers are at war with our prayers, our plans with our plans.” – Seneca
How often have we let our fears, ego, and desire to control the things we cannot control allow us to create a reality for us that is the opposite of what we truly desire? That is the opposite of what brings us true joy and Abundance? The most jarring example of this is when a woman wishes to find a good man to spend the rest of her life with but continues to avoid connecting with good ones and date men who are not worth a fraction of her time. Or wishing to find authentic spiritual connections and bonds but running from those who hold up mirrors for you.
How often have we tested what the Universe has put in front of us because of the fears that our mind has built up around it? How often have we allowed our paths to Ascension and Abundance to deviate because we feel out of control of the reality that answers our prayers? How often have we let fear and ego steer our ship to hellish waters just after Source has shown us the beautiful (but unknown) shores that await us? It is often said that in our spiritual lives, what you run from is most often essential to your healing and most important to your path; how often have you been deceived by circumstances that were actually a gift?
“It isn’t events themselves that disturb people, but only their judgments about them.” – Epictetus
We can never have complete control over our external reality, so the key to living in this world and being of this world is to be unchanged, unmoved, and unaffected by the aspects of the external world that we cannot change — especially the things that scare us most.
If we take full control of our minds, we have tamed fear and the ego and we are truly free and will find endless Abundance in that freedom.
“One who understands the fruits about Me also does not become entangled in the fruitive reactions of work.” [Bhagavad-Gita Ch.4 Text 14]
The fear that the external world presents us, and the fear-based (Ego) realities we construct about our circumstances are just noise meant to distract you from your ultimate focus on Source and your spiritual path. It’s a distraction. It’s intended to entangle you in its web because Ascension is counterintuitive to its goal: a world filled with unhappy and lost people who are playing the low-energy games of life.
“One whose happiness is within, who is active and rejoices within, and whose aim is inward is actually the perfect mystic. He is liberated in the Supreme, and ultimately he attains the Supreme.” [Bhagavad-Gita Ch.5 Text 24]
The external world can only impact you [and control you] and lead you down a path formed by fear if you lack the ability to find the peace within you. That inner world is the space you can truly control and you don’t need to let fear into it. It has no welcome there. You can create the circumstances in life that you desire – your Abundance – once you acknowledge that fact and walk into the external world with a harmonized inner world.
“As the ignorant perform their duties with attachment to results, the learned may similarly act, but without attachment, for the sake of leading people on the right path.” [Bhagavad-Gita Ch.3 Text 25]
We cannot control how the Universe answers our prayers, and sometimes it’s presented to us in ways that are downright scary or which challenge us to go inward and really assess who we are, what we need, and how we may be preventing our own spiritual growth. I always said that if it’s easy, it’s not from Source, so we need to stop allowing fear to move us off our path to Ascension and to finding our joys. We cannot have an attachment or expectation for how our Ascension path looks; we have no control over that. We can only control how our mind reacts, and becoming masters of our minds (and essentially our spiritual hearts) is how we truly Ascend.
So, what will you choose? Will you react to fear and run, or will you learn to control your mind as the Stoics do and as Krishna [Christ Consciousness] encourages all to do, facing adversity and walking towards your true path of Spiritual Abundance?

[…] It’s easy to get into the human mind and manipulate the masses through the fear – the emotion – bonded to a word over time. Some strong words appearing these last few days (or weeks, or months) that are being used against humans, inviting them to play along in their chaos game and not Ascend, are: patriarchy, democrats, republicans, gender, war on democracy, blasphemy, racism. This is all meant to divide us using fear and not unite us with Love. A united Collective that is Aware and Mindful of the mind games being played by low-energy players is the most dangerous threat to the Ascension of Earth. But, as we have moved into this 5D reality, those who continue to feed their fear to these nefarious players will miss the boat, while the rest of us, truly aware of the illusion behind it all, will be sailing away. […] The news is manufactured by nefarious energies. This is why there is little or no “good news” shown on television or reported on news websites. The goal of “news” is to keep you trapped in Ego and separation (rather than Unity), to amplify your fear, and to keep you distracted from the path of Light. This is disappointing considering the etymology of the word news comes from the Latin word Nova which means light. Originally intended as an access point and source of light, it has become twisted and distorted into a central hub for the opposite: fear. […]
