The Paris Chapter Ends – New Beginnings On The Horizon

It’s time to say goodbye to Paris. We’ve had a wonderful run together, with some ups, some downs, some stresses, many joys. She is a different city than that I visited as a tourist, or the city I knew in 2018, and I’m so ready to say goodbye. She served her purpose in my journey (in fact, I’m compiling a book about it!), and now I let her go with no regrets and no longing remaining. Goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend…

In October 2018, pre-Jordan, I wrote this in my blog after visiting Annecy, in the Haute-Savoie region of France:

Me, being the Super Manifestor that I am, I have dreamed Annecy into existence in 2022! It is funny: when I write with honest intention, passion, and purpose, and then let go of expectation, the Universe always seems to listen. I am truly highly blessed.

Jordan has received a promotion to International Director and has been transferred to the larger Switzerland office of his company, and I’m so endlessly proud of him and all he has achieved. As such, we are moving to the French Alps – in fact, we are moving to a city ten minutes from Annecy called St. Jorioz which lines Lac Annecy.

Here is the view from the beach (yes, it has a beach) 1km from our new home:

I’m so excited to start this next chapter of our lives in one of the most beautiful regions of France. I’m so excited to get real roots settled into French mountainous soil. I’m excited to move into our modern renovated chalet and explore our new little town and the big city next door. The second floor of this three floor home has two balconies that look onto a chateau and the chateau grounds – I can’t wait to wake up with my morning cofffee to that view. It will be ready for us on April first, so we are spending the first month in an ApartHotel in Annecy city center; this allows me time to bond even further with the central city hub that I fell in love with nearly 4 years ago.

I had the opportunity to live in one of the most desired cities in the world, Paris, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Strasbourg, and now I get the chance to continue this adventure in yet another beautiful region of France where my husband gets to pursue a job in the country he always dreamed he’d be working in. I’ll be a hop from Switzerland and I’ll be two hours from Northern Italy – it doesn’t really get better than that!

This life is pretty amazing, and to think, it all started with me following my heart and taking the leap here to Paris, on my own. And for that, I’m forever grateful to her. But our time is truly up this round, and I’m glad to be leaving. That chapter is done and there is nothing I will miss so I can release.

I am highly blessed, and am looking forward to waking up to fresh mountain air tomorrow morning with my best friend and our incredible little family. Here’s to new chapters and new beginnings! Here’s to fresh renewals and transformative changes! It’s all up from here —
